Day 1: Arrival in Lhasa Upon arrival at Lhasa Gonggar Airport or Lhasa Train Station, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Lhasa. The rest of the day will be free for you to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude.
Day 2: Lhasa Sightseeing Visit the famous Potala Palace, the winter palace of the Dalai Lama. It is an impressive structure that contains thousands of rooms and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994. In the afternoon, visit Jokhang Temple, one of the most sacred temples in Tibet, and Barkhor Street, a traditional market area that surrounds the temple.
